Tracking GLP-1 side effects

How to log nausea, constipation, fatigue and other GLP-1 side effects in a way that shows patterns across the week and after each dose change.

Why a log helps

Side effects on GLP-1 medicines are often strongest in the days after a dose and after a dose increase. Memory is unreliable over weeks, so a short daily note gives you and your clinician something concrete to look at.

What to record

Note the symptom, how strong it felt on a simple scale, the day relative to your last dose, and anything that may have contributed, such as a large or fatty meal, low fluid intake or poor sleep.

When to get help

Some symptoms need prompt medical attention, including severe or persistent abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, signs of dehydration or an allergic reaction. If you are worried, contact your prescriber, pharmacist or NHS 111, or call emergency services in an emergency.

How Levli helps

Levli keeps your symptom journal next to your dose history, so you can see whether side effects cluster after shot day or settle a few weeks into a new dose, and export a summary for appointments.
